A journalist investigates a centuries old folklore with links to the occult. He is joined for the weekend assignment by his pregnant fiancée as a last vacation together before parenthood. After his fiancée goes missing the journalist desperately tries to uncover the truth but is met with hostility and suspicion from the locals leading him down a dangerous road of discovery.
